Veteran's Day 2006

This day was magic. The Novemebr weather, Dad being home for a Veteran's Day with family- even the pipsqueak, Baer, did fine on his maiden boat ride. The beach was sublime and I showed that pup a thing or two about the surf and sand. He looks up to me, ya know.

the new pipsqueak in my life...

Mom fell in love with Lisa's Acer at New Zion this summer, and they sent her his little brother. Well, I suppose I can teach him a few things... well see how this works out. The humans call him Baer... I call him pipsqueak.

New Zion...playing with the boys summer 2006

The highlight of my visit to New Zion was playing with the boys. These were the same boys that played with me in the first few weeks of my life, and now at a year I can really keep up with them. They are sure great fun- what awesome humans! I can tell Mom is proud of my good manners and respectful behavior.

Sweet Summertime!

Pittsburgh is so lush in the summer, I love the smells and greenery and wildlife. I am a year old now, and a very good girl. I love traveling around the country with my humans, and I enjoy all of our adventures together.

One year old... celebrate with Kleenex

I love Kleenex. Smell it, shred it, rip it to teeny tiny little pieces. Well, Happy 1st Birthday, to me!

Boating the Savannah River, with Grandma, Gigi, and Kitty Kat

It's okay, Grandma. Dad hasn't beeched the boat in several months.

My Girl.

Mom wasn't sure if I'd like being on the water, but I go where my people go. I loved the boat, and the comapny. I even saw dolphins, went to an island, and helped Grandma feel more at ease with my Dad's boat driving.

You better beleive folks look twice when they see me trottin' along with my girl. What can I say, like any good shepherd I watch over my little ones.

growing up pretty

At 10 months I am starting to look like the lovely girl I was bred to be. I have a love of playing and a sense of humor. I still attend classes with Mom, and enjoy the games there. I have a very nice recall and neat heel already. Mom's thinking of trying me out at a show soon... I don't care about that... let me try these shades on, will ya?

Fun in Elijay, GA

Not even a yearling yet, I already know my place on jaunts and hikes with the family. I never stray far and am loyal to my pack. This trip was great fun, a nice break with my family, getting to bond with Dad, who I'd only known for a couple months since he got back from OIF3 at Christmas. I loved hiking, running alond with the atv's, and though trout fishing is a curious passtime, I didn't mind gobbling up the leftovers.

Bisou 9 months old Elijay GA

Mom and me go hiking together- I like that. We do classes together with Kim Tome back home in Savannah, too. I like that, I enjoy a challenge and love games, which is, of course, all it is. Mom says I am a very nice girl and that she is so happy with me. I cock my head and pretend like I didn't know that already....

Bisou- 6 months- playing in the truck with my girl

I am growing quickly and I love to accompany my people wherever they go. Dad came home a month ago and I like him just fine, he takes me all kinds of placed in his little truck; I am adventurous and love to hop in! Mom told Tina barber she needed an adaptable dog willing to go wherever and whenever with my military family, and, so far I fit the bill!
